Cross-Cultural Connections and Spectrum are collaborating to host an open mic night with featured poet, Dr. Jermisha Frazier. This open mic is designed to encourage students from various performance backgrounds to share completed or drafts of work in a safe and supportive environment free from judgement. Our featured poet will share work throughout the evening and showcase what opportunities come from performance art after a collegiate career ends.
This event aims to strengthen students’ ability to:
- Leadership and self-development are enhanced by gaining confident in public speaking and performance.
- Community building and engagement with a diverse array of voices from various student organizations.
