Join us for our Thanksgiving: Giving Thanks Through Many Voices event presented by Cross-Cultural Connections, the Office for International Student Engagement, the American Indian Student Association, the Association of Latin American Students, and the Association of Black Students . All are welcome to join and learn from each other. This event highlights and honors the way different cultures recognize and understand Thanksgiving, both as part of their history, and as a tradition brought into the present day. Student organizations will present on what thanksgiving means to their communities, and foods from various cultures will be available to try. Located in Siegel Hall 208.

Program Goals: Cross-Cultural Connections and the Office for International Student Engagement host Thanksgiving: Giving Thanks Through Many Voices to actively contribute to inclusive and equitable practices that influence individual and systemic change. This is an innovative and interactive approach to teaching students about the various histories of communities who celebrate and finding various meanings of Thanksgiving.
