Jordan serves as the inaugural Director, Cross-Cultural Connections (CCxN) in the Center for Diversity and Inclusion. In her role as Director, Cross-Cultural Connections, she plays a key role in inclusive excellence programming and the development of students. There is an emphasis on creating programs and initiatives that build bridges across communities.

Throughout Jordan’s professional tenure at WashU, she has held roles in Undergraduate Admissions, Residential Life, and WashU Cares. She has advised the Association of Black Students and Hamsini Living Learning Community. She has also served as an Instructor for the Dialogue Across Difference (DxD) course and served as a trainer to onboard new Instructors for that program. In 2019 Jordan was the recipient of the Inclusive Excellence Award through the Division of Student Affairs.

She is a proud alumna of Washington University in St. Louis, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Dance in the College of Arts & Sciences, as well as her Master’s degree in Social Work from the Brown School.
